Where your Simplified Verification Settings (see Verification settings) require verification of an individual (Agent) purporting to act on behalf of an individual or entity being verified (Principal), that Agent will be verified (see Individual verification) in addition to the Principal and one of the following documentation sets, evidencing the Agent’s authority to act on behalf of the Principal, will be requested (as applicable): 

  • If purporting to act on behalf of an individual:

    • Power of Attorney, together with Certificate of Non-Revocation

  • If purporting to act on behalf of an entity:

    • Power of Attorney, together with Certificate of Non-Revocation; 

    • Confirmation from the entity confirming the individual's authority to act; or 

    • Confirmation from a solicitor purporting to act for the client, confirming the individual's authority to act.
